Latest Game Updates
Stay updated with the latest additions, mechanics overrides, balance adjustments, and hotfixes in The Thrill of the Fight 2.
Patch 1.3.2 - Precision Tunings
Temple Weak Point Reductions
Decreased the vulnerability window on the temple hitbox by 15%. Direct side-hooks now require more precise alignment and speed to register a knockdown stun.
AI Speed Alignment
Smoothed out transitions in AI animation speed, preventing unexpected animation speed snaps during combinations in solo training modes.
Patch 1.3.0 - Combat Overhaul
Glove Guard Physics
Introduced absolute rigid-body collision for gloves and guards. Punches will no longer clip through a defender's tight guard, requiring fighters to actively punch around the guard or target body vulnerabilities.
Anti-Spam Filter
Added a kinetic energy accumulator. Rapid, short-range flurries without proper rotation and extension will deal significantly diminished damage and won't interrupt opponent punches.
Player Collision Bounds
Enhanced roomscale tracking checks to prevent players from physically stepping inside the opponent's 3D avatar bounds. Stepping too close now smoothly offsets visual models to maintain realistic punching distance.
Update 0.2.1 - Hotel Venue & Matchmaking
Hotel Venue Integration
Added the luxury Hotel Ballroom arena, featuring dynamic warm lighting, glass reflections, and detailed spectator crowds.
Latency-Based Matchmaking
Overhauled netcode to group matchmaking search queries by regional packet latency, ensuring online matches remain within a fluid, glitch-free boundary.
Referee Foul Warning Voice Lines
Referees now announce vocal warnings for violations such as headbutts, low blows, or holding. Repeated warnings will automatically penalize round points.
The Thrill of the Fight 2 - Launch Day
Solo Career Campaign Mode
Rise from an amateur sparring contender to the world undisputed belt holder in the fully voiced, cinematic solo career mode.
Multiplayer Infrastructure
Launch of dedicated matchmaking lobbies, peer-to-peer latency compensation, global divisions, and spectator broadcast integration.
